Apa saja jenisnya, dan mengapa teknologi ini semakin banyak diterapkan di berbagai industri? Setiap objek yang ingin diidentifikasi akan dipasangi RFID tag yang berisi data unik, kemudian data tersebut dibaca oleh RFID reader tanpa harus melakukan kontak langsung.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keunggulan utama RFID adalah kemampuannya membaca banyak tag sekaligus tanpa harus diarahkan satu per satu. Prosesnya berlangsung dalam hitungan detik sehingga identifikasi objek dapat dilakukan secara otomatis.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>RFID tag menyimpan data<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tahap pertama dimulai dari pemasangan RFID tag pada objek yang ingin diidentifikasi, misalnya pallet, container, kardus, kendaraan, atau aset perusahaan.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Setiap tag memiliki nomor identitas unik yang tersimpan di dalam chip. Sebagai contoh, ketika sebuah pallet selesai dikemas di gudang, RFID tag dipasang pada pallet tersebut sehingga seluruh informasi produk dapat dikenali tanpa perlu membuka kemasannya.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>RFID reader memancarkan gelombang radio<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ketika objek melewati area pembacaan, RFID reader akan memancarkan gelombang radio menuju RFID tag.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Misalnya, sebuah forklift membawa lima pallet melewati gerbang gudang yang telah dipasang RFID reader. Dalam kondisi ini, seluruh RFID tag pada kelima pallet dapat terbaca secara bersamaan tanpa operator harus menghentikan forklift untuk memindai satu per satu seperti saat menggunakan barcode. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inilah alasan mengapa RFID mampu mempercepat proses inbound maupun outbound barang di gudang.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>Data diterima dan diproses oleh sistem<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Setelah RFID tag merespons sinyal dari reader, data akan diteruskan ke sistem komputer atau WMS. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Data tersebut kemudian digunakan untuk memperbarui informasi stok, mencatat perpindahan barang, atau melacak posisi aset secara otomatis. Pemilihan jenis RFID biasanya disesuaikan dengan jarak pembacaan, biaya implementasi, serta kebutuhan operasional.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>1. Passive RFID<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Passive RFID merupakan jenis RFID yang paling banyak digunakan karena tidak memiliki baterai internal. Active RFID<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Berbeda dengan passive RFID, active RFID memiliki baterai sehingga dapat memancarkan sinyal sendiri. Keunggulan utamanya adalah jangkauan pembacaan yang jauh lebih luas sehingga cocok digunakan untuk melacak container, kendaraan operasional, alat berat, maupun aset bernilai tinggi yang bergerak di area yang luas.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebagai contoh, terminal peti kemas dapat memasang active RFID pada trailer atau container tertentu agar posisi aset dapat dipantau secara real-time selama berada di area pelabuhan.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>3. Semi-passive RFID<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Semi-passive RFID juga menggunakan baterai tetapi baterainya hanya digunakan untuk mengaktifkan chip di dalam tag. Sementara proses komunikasi dengan reader tetap mengandalkan gelombang radio yang dipancarkan reader.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jenis ini umumnya digunakan pada aplikasi yang membutuhkan sensor tambahan, seperti pemantauan suhu produk farmasi atau makanan selama proses distribusi.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>4. LF, HF, dan UHF RFID<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selain dibedakan berdasarkan sumber dayanya, RFID juga diklasifikasikan berdasarkan frekuensi operasinya.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Low Frequency (LF):<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Memiliki jarak baca pendek, tetapi lebih stabil ketika berada di sekitar logam atau cairan. Banyak digunakan untuk identifikasi hewan dan sistem akses.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>High Frequency (HF):<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Memiliki jangkauan sedang dan banyak dimanfaatkan pada kartu akses, perpustakaan, maupun beberapa aplikasi NFC.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Ultra High Frequency (UHF):<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Memiliki jangkauan baca lebih jauh serta mampu membaca banyak tag secara bersamaan. Oleh karena itu, UHF menjadi standar yang paling sering digunakan pada pergudangan, distribusi, dan supply chain.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pemilihan jenis RFID yang tepat akan sangat memengaruhi efektivitas implementasi di lapangan.
